House of Bread Ministry Center
The house of bread Ministry Center was founded and started by Phyllis Stringer. It is the result of a dream and vision of her late
husband, Ellis Yoder, who told her about seeing large groups of people meeting in the wooded area north of their house.
After he went on to be with the Lord, Phyllis was told by the Lord to build Him a Church or Fellowship Hall. She had inherited
some funds to use, but felt that the two lots she owned in Harper, Kansas would be a better location. Every time she
considered building in Harper, the song "There's a Church in the Valley by the Wildwood," would pop up in her memory. So not
only did she build the building in the woods, it has become a ministry center, which has been used by several ministries.
Several years after Ellis had passed away she married Dan Stringer, whom she had know for over twenty years, through Full
Gospel connections. They were married in January of 2003 and both are continuing the work of the ministry center. A lot of the
work was done through donations and donated labor, however much work still remain to be done, and there is work to be done
just to keep the facilities maintained. We have, through the past year of so, received damage from ice storms, tornadoes and
floods to our wooded area.. Donated labor would be welcomed and appreciated along these lines.
The House of Bread Facility is also available for holding family reunions, weddings, anniversary and birthday parties, along with
other events. Check with us to see if the facilities are available on the date you desire and make reservations.

Countryside Christian Ministries, Inc.
Countryside Christian Ministries was founded by Dan Stringer back in 1982, after the Lord told him that, "All
across the countryside, there are Christians that need to be ministered to, because they are not walking in
victory." He was told to teach faith, love and forgiveness, and how to walk in the spirit, so people could enjoy
the Kingdom of God Now! This he has striven to do through prayer ministry and Christian Counseling with
numerous Christian individuals and couples.
When he and Phyllis married, the House of Bread Ministry Center became the home of the ministry, and
shortly after that the ministry incorporated as a non-profit religious organization. Executive officers of
Countryside Christian Ministries are as follows, (see photos below ): Dan Stringer, President; Larry Miller,
Vice President; Jerrod Handly, Secretary and Phyllis Stringer, Treasurer.
Countryside Christian Ministries, Inc. owns the forty acres of land that the House of Bread Ministry Center
sets on. A very active building program is planned over the next few years, which includes, shelter houses,
cabins and RV hook-ups. This Countryside Christian Ministries has always been involved with Christian
Counseling and Prayer Ministry, (deliverance and inner healing) and is available for those in need of this kind
of ministry.
At the current time, one of the main projects is developing (CCMEA), Countryside Christian Ministries
Evangelistic Association.
